I decide what to eat primarily on past experiences. I am more likely to eat food that I know tastes good and have heard good recommendations for from friends and family. Sometimes, I also decide what to eat based on how healthy or good it is for my body. I like to take advantage of the vegetarian options at DU because I know that proper use of that selection is to my advantage. My values that inform me of these decisions are word-of-mouth/reputation, taste, and cost. My main concerns with food would be whether or not it is healthy and also, if it is cheap or not. At school, the situation dictates what I eat. Since I have a very hectic schedule, I force myself to eat whatever is close by, so I also value convenience. The biggest change that I aspire for in my eating habits is how structured my meals are. I want to make sure that I eat at regular times every day, so that my body does not react negatively as it has in the past.
